March 19

Alright already. To jump right into things with a quick update: cakes-still working on them, dating-the guy was engaged to someone (not me by the way) the whole time. Not cool!, career- I'm trying to get it jump started. I'm doing this whole package/demo type thing of myself to include songs, films, etc and I'm passing it along to "people in the biz" (such as FOB at their Marysville and Concord concerts). I figure they can only say no and toss it, so why not give it a chance. I'm nearly done with my feature film. I know, I know it's been two years this April. But hey It's not as easy to write as everyone makes it seem. I'm past the part of being the girl who makes coffee for the rest of her life. I'm really looking foreword to meeting FOB and I know I will because I said I'd meet MCR and I did. You really have to be willing to wait around and observe and pay attention and go without sleep to meet the people who could help you make it in the 'biz'. So I guess for right now it's back to the drawing board, as I have no idea of what to do for my film final, especially since several ideas have blown up in smoke and it's actually not that pleasant. Let me tell you. Okay, so off I go to continue my devious plan to stuff my cd/dvds into FOB's pretty little hands (and I mean it, they're little guys)!
In case you can't tell, I'm done with love for now, not permanently, but I have more important things to do and people to meet. Every should listen to "Infinity on High" in stores now!!!

Feb 3rd

Okay, so last month was a bit crazy. I did a lot. Well, actually it's more like I got myself involed in life more than I had been. Okay so let me recap!
work: great! Still working on a promo, but things are going great.
cake: The classes were a blast and people want to pay me to make them. Always a plus!
career: I was intorduced to Full Sail. It's like atrade entertainment college. I'm really looking into it since I've come to terms with the fact that I can't get a real job without a degree. And I was introduced to it by a very nice, kind man whom . . . .
dating: . . I've come to know sort of "okay well". Things are new slow and just to sdarn early to say anything. But I did quit eHarmony. I wasn't about to continue to spend $50 when the whole point was to get my feet planted in the dating world. And they firmly are . . sort of.

So that was my january in a nut shell. i'm too tired to continue on tonight. But hey, Feburary is just starting! And 11 days until the world celebrates St. Valintines day, which I read on the historychannel.com, was started eiether quite romanticlly, heroically, or something else!
the best is yet to be!

Jan 2nd

It is only the second day of the year and already I may be taking on more than I should. Though that means I won't have idle time to eat everything in site.
It's hard to believe that 2007 is here already. This June will be four years since I graduated high school, and I've little to show for the gone that's passed. Since graduating I've taken nearly enough classes to have my Associates degree (too bad the credits were mostly electives), I've changed jobs and career ideas so many times that I don't even know what I wanted to do with my life to begin with, I've battled demons, lost friends, made new ones, learned from most of my mistakes, and I've finally jumped into the dating pool.
Okay, so back to everything I'll be doing to keep myself busy. Well, for starters I've signed up for Wilton Cake Decorating classes. They start next week and go until the first week in Feb. Three weeks from now I will be going back to Solano College to take yet another film class and to finally learn how to play my guitar. I'll be doing all of this as well as training for a promotion and transfering to another store, and finding a new teriffic church to attend. Yeah!
I will try as much as possible to update this blog as often as possible. Hopefully God will provide me with direction and I'm not too dense to find the way.
